They could feasibly remove the tourism industry and be fine as a nation in the long run. But yeah this is true. Cambodia is even worse believe it or not. At least with Thailand they have an abundance of land to retreat to. Cambodia their land is littered with land mines the Americans left behind they cant even retreat with the risk of literally being blown up.
