Not their ā€œentireā€ economy, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. They could feasibly remove the tourism industry and be fine as a nation in the long run. But yeah, this is true.

Cambodia is even worse believe it or not. At least with Thailand they have an abundance of land to retreat to. Cambodia their land is littered with land mines the Americans left behind… they can’t even retreat with the risk of literally being blown up.

I felt terribly uncomfortable when i spent time in Thailand, seeing all these dumb ass Instagram clout chasers treat their country life a playground to indulge in all kinds of cheap degeneracy and faux ā€œsoul searchingā€ behaviours. Just the sheer reckless disregard for local customs alone. I saw it so frequently i became embarrassed to be white.

The Thai people are constantly dealing with cultural vandals, and to compound it, their youth are being exposed to all the trappings of the internet age that has plagued the western youth with and is slowly brainwashing them. Just like in the western world, their new generations aren’t going to remember how free and beautiful things can actually be, despite being in objectively the most beautiful country in the world bar none.

Thai people are famous for their smiles, but their eyes give much more away. I just knew these people were feeling something much deeper that they are far too kind and polite to ever publicly state. I recognised the same resentment i felt inside when i spent time in London or Manchester.

Most won’t outwardly say it, partly because their economy is dependant on tourism, so they will tolerate us with gritted teeth, but also simply because many have been programmed to accept the globalised world. But many desperately want their country back as much as we do in England. I do hope at some stage their people will rise up and become more nationalistic just like what is happening all the world at the moment.
