""The Toy Bulldog" Mickey Walker (left) gives future Heavyweight Champion Jack Sharkey everything he can handle on July XX 1931 as they battle to a 15-round draw at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn New York. ---------------------------------------------------------- From The Fight City on "The Boston Gob" Jack Sharkey: In boxing history there are the champions and there are those who fight among them. From boxrec: Tunney had the better of the fight until the tenth when he gave Carpentier a frightful beating knocking him down three times. "Why Pete Rademacher other than for the payday would choose to fight highly regarded Zora Folley 40-2-2 at the time in his second pro fight on July XX 1958 is hard to figure. Perhaps it was because Rademacher and Folley had met twice as amateurs with both winning a decision. Rademacher was also already 29-years-old by this date with no time to waste before age would catch up with him. The experienced and skilled Folley who already had wins over Wayne bethea and Nino Valdes along with a draw against Eddie Machen would KO the 1956 Olympic Gold Medalist in the 4th round at the Olympic Auditorium"
