I got lucky in 2013 with BTC because in 2009, after the 2008 GFC, I realized I didn't know what money is.

I couldn't answer the question: "what is this thing we call money?" (And I have law, accounting and economics degrees)

Nothing in University taught us what money actually is.

It took several months to figure out the banking system was printing money out of thin air.

That's when I started buying Gold and Silver in 2009, Bitcoin in 2013, Ethereum in 2016 then Matic in 2019.
