The response from Coke & Pepsi - "price war retaliation"

(a) Pepsi dropped its XXX ml bottle price from ₹25 to ₹20 ; just to match Campa’s XXX ml.

(b) In West Bengal, Coke offered ₹15 packs of XXX ml bottles as a promotional counter but later withdrew without resorting to all out price war.

(c) Both, Coke and Pepsi rolled out ₹10 no‑sugar/light variants (Coke Zero, Pepsi No‑Sugar) to compete with Campa’s low-priced variants.

Btw, if you think RCPL spent a fortune on advertising Campa Cola - Coke & Pepsi spend MUCH more. PepsiCo India spent ~₹700 cr per year v/s ₹50 cr allocated for Campa by RCPL

However, Reliance Group is mostly unstoppable:
