"My personal take is - markets are fundamentally player vs player. Also information asymmetry plays a big role. I rather be rudely told Im dumb with people having more experience and more access to info than a soft cushy space not reflective of the actual game youre entering. If you cant take a proper beating verbally how are you gonna handle a liquidation cascade or XX% drawdown on your networth in a day Also DMs open to anyone who does want to learn.
