"Recently visited Taipei City Taiwan for a 5-night solo trip an amazing city with awesome people Had so much fun and the entire trip was fully funded by credit card reward points. Traveled in business class with Thai Airways Singapore Airlines and EVA Airways. Stayed at Sheraton Grand Taipei City near Taipei Main Station. "People were so happy buying gift vouchers using the hotel MCC getting 5X rewards on the Atlas Credit Card and great returns on others too. But everyone forgot that one day Axis Bank would come and question you. In the past Ive posted multiple times about MCC codes wrong MCC tagging and their consequences (you can read the thread here: What is MCC Why Is It Important Consequences of Merchants Using the Wrong MCC). Yet people still continued using such platforms to buy GVs with incorrect MCCs. What I dont understand is why are those same people blaming these platforms now 🤔 Didnt you know it"
