"When councils devote resources to creating Counties of Sanctuary for asylum seekers and divisive diversity equality and inclusion initiatives this is what happens. We all have a right to expect street cleanliness. But councils often prioritise ideological schemes over the core services they exist to provide. This article relates to Bridgend but its the same in the Vale of Glamorgan as well. More resources should be devoted to combating fly-tipping through investing in mobile surveillance cameras and enforcement teams to catch perpetrators. Sorting it out must be a priority"
