"All really good answers. Dont have much to add except that Latam is $MELIs bread and butter and they know how to operate with the nuances of Latam (geographical regulatory unions etc). This is a huge advantage as they are hyper focused ($AMZN is not) and the developed world playbook simply does not work in Latam. Try to install kiba robots in a distribution center. It will get shut down by unions in [--] minutes. These nuances are not minor and $AMZN is just not geared as well as $MELI to solve this. Still is a formidable competitor and the real threat."
