@crypto_ceej "This is not a great product for the end user the XRP holder here's why. mXRP trades on DEXes but redemptions key off the issuers reference value (iNAV/NAV) minus fees not the DEX price. If you buy at a premium to iNAV youre likely to redeem less than you paidespecially after fees. Mode matters too: Instant capacity can return XRP; Standard can route you to USD after a queue. Bottom line: mXRP is a cash-settled collateral-backed securitytreat the DEX price the reference value the mode and the fees as four separate risk knobs"

"The Axelar team can be and is awesome. That has nothing to do with how Midas operates. In the end the CEL token was deemed a security and Celsius was operating without the proper licenses. Which ultimately ended up hurting the end users. So yes whatever Axelar's role in this can be a "real builder". That's not what's in question here. That doesn't make mXRP great for the end-user ( XRP holders)"

"Firelights design is categorically different. No manager can move funds button. You opt into a programmatic strategy at deposit; parameters and exits are enforced by code. The team cant repurpose funds or chase yield elsewhere"

"stXRP keeps control in your wallet. mXRP asks you to hand it over. With stXRP (non-custodial) Control: You keep control through your wallet; exits are governed by code not a desk. Predictability: Returns track staking economics; fewer black-box surprises. Stress behavior: If markets panic you can still unstake or swap (subject to liquidity/unbonding) and no human can gate you. With mXRP (custodial/managed) Trust transfer: You transfer control to a structure + manager; you rely on their processes and solvency. Path dependency: In turbulence the issuer may gate redemptions or apply NAV"

"Discretionary management hedge fund risk. With vault products the operator can actively trade/lend/hedgesometimes on-chain and off-chain. Youre betting on their decisions their risk controls and their solvency"

"Licensing & oversight matter. If a manager isnt authorized/supervised like a traditional asset manager youre taking TradFi-style risk without TradFi protections (gate risk NAV haircuts redemption delays legal uncertainty)"

"What this means for holders. Vaults (mXRP/Doppler-type): counterparty + strategy + redemption risk. Firelight: smart-contract risk + market risk of the chosen strategy but not discretionary reallocation risk"
