The last mortgage that I designed at JNBS was XXXX% and this was 2008. Mortgage rates in Jamaica dropped to single digits since then. I haven't paid much attention to them since except to look at NHT. 📌No idea what insurance is like. In the USA you typically only get PMI if your deposit is below XX% 📌The Jamaican Diaspora has stepped up investing back home both for gain and also because RE prices in the USA have gotten out of hand compared to wages.
