"If this goes through DHS spends $380k per bed for retrofitted warehouses. Would be an incredible waste of money for a very subpar solution. They could buy GEO/CXW's turnkey facilities that are specifically designed for this for a fraction of the cost. Seems like the future of the businesses rests on them convincing DHS to buy their facilities. The plan should sell itself compared to the warehouse solution but if this doesn't happen GEO/CXW could be in for a world of pain as their biggest customer leaves them and strands their assets.
