"Lots of reasons: -investments that are still held at their cost basis (because they havent listed for example) -illiquidity discounts -vesting schedule -measuring period if you measured our performance from our first treasury company investment the results 3x -initial allocation to the strategy was small (few % of total fund took time to scale up) -weve had multiple 10-100x but weve also had a few 2-5x that have dragged avg"

"We dont have a defined strategy of only picking one treasury company in each market we plan on underwriting thousands of deals. We want at least one deal in every market but markets where weve joined a board and have significant capital deployed we are going to focus our efforts on supporting that business. Initially we were funding every deal with good economics and thats how we ended up in multiple Canada Cos. "So previous epochs are unforkable How does that work It also wouldn't cost $81b because you're buying into the controlling equity. it'd cost XX% of that. but you could also hedges or use debt financing to get control of that equity so it's much more complex. You could also rally other existing shareholders that would bring down the cost quite a bit. If the validators were slashed theres some interesting legal/moral questions that arise. Appreciate the thoughtful response I didn't mean to dig at ethereum specifically but POS systems inside of securities wrappers"
