Ever wonder why they lowered the age of majority to 18, but you still have to push the "I am over 20" button on the screen when you buy your Strong Zeros at the 7-11?  

It's because the prohibition on young folk drinking and buying booze still comes from a 1922 law that presumably ties back to the OLD age of majority but was deliberately left in place when the lowered it.
