my friend sent me this in the morning after seeing what we were building yesterday. the comment hit not because “attention to detail” is some elusive thing (it’s not), but because what counts as detail has changed a lot.

this stuff used to mean polished UI, buttery transitions, & slick haptics. now it’s something far more ambient… personality, vibe, emotional tone. it’s in the cadence of the language, the subtle mischief of phrasing, the sense that this thing knows you. the depth of feeling it evokes.

software is economically the most efficient zero marginal value creation mechanic in history because it is one to many. but now it’s deeply possible to build software that feels one to one. the tools let you sculpt culture at a personal scale… the meaning of programming culture is now quite literal. pretty incredible step change for humanity.
