Jeffrey Epstein’s Mystery Bank Came Alive After His Death



Yes, Jeffrey Epstein did obtain a banking license in 2014 for a specialized international banking entity called Southern Country International.

However, it's important to note the following:
The license was approved by officials in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein had established many of his businesses, but this approval was considered unusual given his status as a convicted sex offender.

It's unclear whether the bank actually conducted any business or had any customers prior to his death in 2019.

The bank did receive millions of dollars from Epstein's estate after his death.

Epstein also had prior experience in the banking and finance sector, working for Bear Stearns and later founding his own financial management firms.
