Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, is expected to visit Islamabad in the near future.

The spokesperson for the ministry, in a press conference, stated that talks between the officials of the two countries are ongoing, and the date of Muttaqi’s visit is currently being coordinated and has not yet been finalized.

In response to a journalist’s question regarding the possibility of Pakistan recognizing the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan during this visit, Shafqat Ali Khan said that the matter is currently nothing more than speculation.
