The question for me is this:

Can Tesla make a XXXXXX dollar car drive itself without human operator on any road? Do I believe they can achieve this?

If yes, it is the most profound technological innovation in decades, and literally nothing else matters at all. There is zero amount of noise that can stop a value unlock so significant. A 30k vehicle that can move people, goods, and services without a paid human behind the wheel increases the margin of every business that moves things. It drives cost of transportation lower than ever before. 

I currently believe they can achieve this, because they basically already have. I don’t care about how long regs BS take, just that the technology is real and almost complete. I didn’t believe it a year ago, but I believe it today. 

That’s all I’m focused on with Tesla.
