The thing I hear constantly is people talking about charge stops not being worth it over gas. My argument is that this is a myth for over XX% of people, and until you live with a Tesla and experience software integrated fueling, you don’t know what you’re talking about. BUT that’s not what I want to talk about right now, because this is in the noise compared to FSD. Traveling by road with FSD is life changing. Don’t listen to me, go do it. The difference in what it feels like to travel in a self driving car is the difference between communicating in 2025 with a house phone over smartphone. Once you’ve learned the system and made the transition you cannot ever go back. It’d be like being asked to run a marathon in work boots. Absolutely no chance. Hard no. Time goes by faster. As your energy fluctuates, stress levels don’t change because you are surrounded by a forcefield of XXX vision and AI driving. And you know this and feel this through insane level of peace. The level of peace vs having to drive for X hours manually is night and day. And not only is supervising way less effort, but you have a far greater ability to be aware of everything around you and anticipate danger. Way more than when your senses are focused on driving. But this barely even matters because the car has faster reaction time than you and sees everything too. My average charge stop on this trip has been XX mins every 2.5-3hrs. You could double stop time and I wouldn’t care if the alternative was no FSD. It’s that serious. I refuse to travel without this tech ever again.
