The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that since August 2021, it has provided temporary shelter to XXXXXX Afghans as part of efforts to facilitate their travel to third countries.

According to the ministry's statement, the UAE has helped XXXXXX Afghans and other foreign nationals travel to XX different countries, spending approximately XXX million US dollars on shelter and relocation operations.

The statement adds that the UAE coordinated with XX embassies, United Nations agencies, and international organizations to support the transfer of Afghans to their final destinations.

It further noted that during this period, the UAE provided educational opportunities to XXXXX Afghan children.
