On Income Tax Day, 24th July 2025, SBI has been honoured as the Top Income Taxpayers of Maharashtra. Ms. Saloni Narayan, DMD (Finance), received the award on behalf of the Bank from the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, in the presence of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Pr. CCIT), Mumbai. In FY 2024-25, SBI paid over ₹25,000 crore as Corporate Tax and remitted more than ₹26,000 crore as TDS. The Bank also reported an impressive XXXX crore records as Statement of Financial Transactions (SFTs) and XXXX crore TDS records—demonstrating its commitment to transparency, large-scale compliance and fiscal discipline.
