Biggest threat to Chinese AI chip industry is Nvidia ecosystem lock-in.

The hypothetical adopted by most people supporting chip bans was that PRC wouldn't be able to produce competitive hardware (leading to a big disadvantage in LLM development), but this is just factually wrong.
