The U.S. will do "whatever it takes" to lead the world in AI, Trump said in Washington Wednesday after rolling out the AI action plan.

"America is going to win the AI race... we're going to work hard and we're going to win it."

“From this day forward it'll be a policy of the United States to do whatever it takes to lead the world in artificial intelligence."

"We need to have a single federal standard, not XX states," regulating AI, Trump said. "We can't have a state with standards so high that it is going to hold you up."
