Whenever I post about nomadic living and such, it's always women who seem fascinated and enthralled by it. But the men say: "no woman would do this." If you point out to these men that the women DO want to do this stuff -- even for extended or indefinite periods of time -- they'll say: "those women are lying." And that could be true, until you realize that women are camping, hiking, doing the AT and PCT, WWOOFing, off-grid living, and third world traveling in larger numbers than ever. @Empty_America calls it "the great inversion" -- women are now by and large more adventurous than men. But instead of men owning up to this, they pin it on the women, say "oh they don't want that" instead of just admitting that they don't have the same desire to "rough it" that the women seem to. I very honestly think that any man with a penchant for nomadic, wilderness, deep off-grid type living would have absolutely no trouble finding a marriageable woman to accompany him on the adventure. Even if he insisted on living very rough on an indefinite basis, and was up-front about it when dating a woman, I don't think many women would balk. Many would likely say: "wow, that sounds GREAT!" and join with complete enthusiasm, living in the tipi, raising babies in the wilderness, etc etc. XXXXXXX engagements **Related Topics** [if you](/topic/if-you) [women](/topic/women) [Post Link](https://x.com/shagbark_hick/status/1948059987386790010)
