Volatility in the secondary market is a much bigger problem than fed funds. ST interest rates are about financing new loans prior to MBS. LT rates are about pricing new loans. @potus has added half a point to mortgage rates since January. Selling a X% 30-year FRM into a @FannieMae XXX at XXX is terrible execution...
