X. FF did support the concept of national reserves (gold and silver).

X. FF did not want to abolish taxes. The inability of the federal government to raise funds under the AoC was one of the key reasons for the Constitution. They opposed taxation without representation.

X. FF believed in a balance of individual liberty and republican governance, not atomization of state power. The Constitution IS a significant centralization of authority compared to the AoC.

X. FF did fear tyrannical government and built checks and balances to avoid it, but to them the solution was an institutional framework to limit power - not anarchy.
