In a press release, by the office of deputy prime minister in Economic Affairs stated that today (Wednesday, XX July), a gathering of over XXX traders, industrialists, and investors from across the country was held at the Salam Khana Palace in the Arg.

The meeting, organized by the Economic Affairs Office and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, focused on discussions between government officials and traders regarding the proposal to collect a fixed, one-time customs tax from import-based commercial companies.

According to the statement, national traders and industrialists jointly requested that fixed taxes be collected in a unified manner from import companies. They argued that if implemented, this would significantly boost trade activity and reduce taxation-related challenges.
