Gurbonov Bahodir, Chairman of Uzbekistan’s State Security Service, stated on X that he met with Abdul Haq Wasiq, the head of intelligence of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Bahodir added that Afghanistan has successfully dismantled the ISIS group and eliminated all of its members.

He assured that Uzbekistan will continue to support the caretaker government in Afghanistan in the field of security.
