LAUNCH OF THE UGANDA PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (PFM) REFORM STRATEGY:

 A new PFM Reform Strategy for the period July 2025 to June 2030, will be launched tomorrow,Thursday  24th July,2025 at Kampala Serena Hotel.

This follows the expiry of the current strategy on 30th June, 2025.

Effective Public Financial Management (PFM) is crucial for achieving development outcomes and delivering essential services to citizens

A well-functioning PFM system enables government to allocate resources efficiently, manage risks, and promote transparency and accountability.

This new PFM reform strategy has been designed to support the 10-fold  growth strategy of building a USD XXX billion economy by 2040.
