"PERFORMANCE OF THE ECONOMY REPORT FOR JUNE 2025 According to the Reportthe Ugandan Shilling continues to strengthen against the US Dollar. In the month of June 2025 the Shilling appreciated by XXX percent trading at an average mid-rate of Shs 3605.84/USD compared to Shs 3653.40/USD in May 2025. This was mainly due to increased dollar inflows from exports as well as Foreign Direct Investment. Ugandas trade deficit with the rest of the world narrowed by XXXX percent to USD XXXXXX million in May 2025 compared to USD XXXXXX million in May 2024.
