SPX wasn't around in 1920s.

-Lots of divergences in place on technical side. 
-Fundamentals are saying economic growth will slow.
-Sentiment divergence also hitting with fewer AAII bulls on each new high since mid 2024 peak. Bears at April lows calling Black Monday are now calling for much higher targets.
