"Something interesting after that $VIX spike last week was that nobody anticipated it and the same people that didn't see a pop in vol coming are already counting this period of vol over. This is the 7th instance where vol quickly popped and pulled back to an up sloping 50WMA with a flat 200WMA. The prior X all led to sharp pullbacks in coming weeks/months. As long as the 50WMA neighborhood holds on VIX I'd expect this correction isn't done. I think terminal VIX at the end of this pullback won't be XX like the last couple but more in the mid to high 30s"

"If $TNX and $TYX continue to breakdown Stagflation and Boom conditions are off the table and the market is pricing in a recession/growth scare. $TNX backtested the breakdown in September and as long as it holds 4.25-4.3% the trend is down. It's inches from making a new XX week closing low. $WTIC is saying that a growth scare is coming as well. I've been bullish of crude for the past 6-12 months as it's carved out this rangey mess.
