Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the acting minister of defense, met with Kurbannov Bakhodir, the head of Uzbekistan’s Intelligence Agency, his deputy Mukhtorov Farrukh, and Khasanova Salimjon, the commander of the country’s border forces. They discussed security in Afghanistan, border cooperation, and bilateral relations.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, Mujahid expressed gratitude for Uzbekistan’s international support for Afghanistan and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries.
