Will the Qullamaggie Screener capture HTF's?

Short answer - only when the flag completes and the breakout begins.

The "Qullamaggie Screener" will most likely exclude High Tight Flag (HTF) stocks that are currently in the "flag phase" as the volatility contraction could result in an ATR RS of below average.
It should capture HTF's when the flag is completed and breakout begins but, for some, that may be too late for their preferred entry points.

The HTF and Minervini VCP (Volatility Contraction Pattern) are more likely to be captured by:

1) The Minervini "Trend Template" Screener


2) Minervini VCP Scanner (FINVIZ)
