New sponsorship deals with Bumble, Delta, Coach, Skims, ally Financial, and I believe they have new Nike and Carmax deals in the works Even conservative estimates from expects the WNBAs expected revenue after accounting for the 40ish % ownership by the NBA and outside investors between 350-500 M, which this doesn’t include the expansion feeds. This compared to XXX M total in 2024. Expected expenses are assumed remain the same. So the W is going to go from a league that lost XX Million in 2024 to a league that will profit between XXX M and XXX M in 2026. Again those are conservative estimates. Some investors are saying with the Caitlin Clark phenomenon and the ticket sales trending upwards it is realist that the W could have a revenue of 1-2 billion, but I personally dont buy that, I mean technically it could happen but that’s kind of far fetched. Basically the league is about to double-triple their revenue thanks to all the old TV deals expiring and the new ones starting, while maintaining the same expenses they saw in 2024. Furthermore part of the reason the league hemorrhaged money in 2024, is because they put stuff like charter flights, better in season lodging, better hotels on the road into effect before they actually got any of the extra revenue… supposedly it was a good faith move by the owners but here we are using that -40M in loses as the key reason to not increase the revenue sharing, so I tend to have doubts anything is in good faith. I’m publishing an article on it this weekend, with all the numbers and math laid out if your interested 🤝 XX engagements **Related Topics** [nba](/topic/nba) [accounting](/topic/accounting) [delta](/topic/delta) [$nke](/topic/$nke) [stocks consumer cyclical](/topic/stocks-consumer-cyclical) [Post Link](https://x.com/adukeMN/status/1947491127155675199)
