@Mike_M_Klotz Current EVs are more sustainable than gas cars using much less fossil fuels in life-cycle and are recyclable. Modern batteries are switching to LFP, which is mostly easy to find lithium and iron, and don't use contested resources like cobalt. 

Your assumption is wrong.
