Let's address the catalase (antioxidant enzyme) discovery.

One catalase molecule destroys MILLIONS of hydrogen peroxide molecules per second.

But grey follicles have almost no catalase, allowing peroxide to wreak havoc and bleach melanin (natural pigment) from within.
