This is an area that has an exceeding amount of waste and it takes XX years to shepherd a new drug through the approvals/testing stages/process. When I look at the chart of $XBI though, I see a XX year base and unprecedented accumulation beneath the surface. AI will completely change the landscape in the biotech space and allow drugs to be brought to market quicker, as well as failing drugs cut faster. With so many drugs coming off Big Pharma patent next few years, M&A will make a resurgence in the back half of Trump's presidency. Golden age of Biotech Investing will be here once again. Best growth area to own the next couple of years.
