@ThrillaRilla369 When you’re old you might be able to afford property taxes but mortgages, house might be worth a lot, much harder to get someone to loan you $1,000,000+ to buy leveraged shares etc. Most people don’t have the discipline ability to invest the difference between rent & mortgage
