Shares of Block $XYZ are up XXX% today on news that the company will be added to the S&P XXX index on Wednesday.

The fintech will replace Hess following its merger with Chevron.

Block was created by Jack Dorsey as Square but was later renamed to reflect the company’s interest in digital assets and blockchain.
