Back then, companies like Webvan hit $8.5B on just $400K in revenue. eToys had an $8B valuation with only $30M in revenue. reached $4B with zero revenue. and Similar stories — huge valuations, no sustainable business models. Today’s AI leaders may look expensive on P/E, but they’re backed by real revenue, global scale, and far more disciplined capital allocation. The speculation exists, but the fundamentals are vastly different. What do you think? Do you agree?
