@ManagersBox88 @smellurfingers @RapidResponse47 @howardlutnick TBH, Security Home Mortgage Corporation was not a bank, it was a Mortgage company. After their failure, the CDIC stepped in and returned the $42M in funds to all 2600 depositers.

Canada has a strong stable banking system. Do US banks even *want* to compete here?
