one of trump’s most effective & under discussed strategies is his ability to scrape. just slowly, repeatedly wear things down. he doesn’t need to win outright… he just needs to exhaust the opposition, erode the narrative, & introduce doubt through sheer persistence.

like look at what he’s doing to jerome powell. it’s not one big takedown. it’s a constant drip. questioning intelligence, throwing jabs, cheap shots that seem random but accumulate. it’s character assassination by abrasion. & over time, even if you know better, your brain starts to absorb the rhythm of the attack. maybe there’s something there. that is the trick.

& he doesn’t stop. when trump wants something, he just keeps going. like andy dufresne in shawshank, digging a tunnel through concrete with a rock hammer for twenty years. same energy. slow, obsessive, relentless. & eventually, the other side becomes exhausted as hell.
