The first Core Science and Coreweave deployment kicked their entire timeline a few months (I have my theory about it relating to government red tape and contracts) but still…

I think that people are still underestimating the time and money it takes to build a tier X data center with redundancies, coordinate with local government jurisdictions, power providers etc.

Right now Iren and Cifr have a lot of land and a lot of access to power. That doesn’t make them data center companies.

I think they’ll be fine, but take that timeline you expect to get rich and extend it out a couple years.
