I love how AmEx plat is basically just AmEx gold but worse and more expensive. The ultimate idiot tax. 5x on flights vs 4x on all dining and groceries + 3x on flights. "BUT IT'S PLATINUM!" Study this for a masterclass in consumer marketing. My old credit cards VP was shocked when *metal cards* literally outperformed every other initiative we had. Yes, people are retarded.
