What happens if they don´t? Here are some reasons DFC would accept the Dasa project in #Niger: X. US utilities need the #uranium as the US mines cannot produce enough. X. Not approving a loan would probably make the uranium from Dasa go East instead of West. X. They will most probably quite quickly get their money back with interest. On the other hand, I well understand that there may be political opposition to a deal because of the junta. In that case a JV is the way to go. But imo GLO must accept they cannot expect a valuation like a mine in the West, so they will have to swallow the fact that must sell 20-30% of future production at a discount in order not to dilute anymore. If they get indications that no DFC deal is close, then offer the JV partner a good dicount if they sign the agreement rapidly. Keeping XX% of the production will still make this a multibagger quiet soon imo. The project is awesome, reserves have potential to grow a lot. Even though initial production is 4-4.5 Mlbs/year, they could double after a few years that if motivated. If they get a JV agreement, they will probably first produce 2-3 years at the planned 4-4.5 Mlbs rate. They can then finance the expansion with cash-flow from their own production. So there should be no need for more financings once they are in full production. Stephen has commented that a JV partner will be eager to expand the production capacity which make a lot of sense if you only own 20-30%.
