Rene, 15, was gunned down in Emslie Horniman's Pleasance park, also known as "Teletubbies Park," in Ladbroke Grove, west London, in July 2024. Chilling new CCTV footage released by police on Saturday, July 19, shows a balaclava-clad suspect calmly walking into the busy park via the children's play area, taking a handgun from his pocket, & shooting Rene in the chest. The shooting took place during an annual pre-Notting Hill Carnival event & allegedly came amid a violent postcode war between rival gangs. Further images show that after killing Rene, the shooter chased a second victim, pointing the gun at him as he fled & dove behind a white BMW. Police have offered a £20,000 reward for information. Locals claimed "tensions" between the Ladbroke Grove Boys (LGB) & Harrow Road Boys (HRB) gangs have been ongoing, with members attacking each other.
