All of them are just normal middle class people with jobs and a family, no lifestyles of the rich and famous here. The internal combustion vehicle depends on a prebuilt system, one that has been developed over the last century and mainly subsidized by the government. Study after study shows that EV maintenance is significantly less than that of a gas vehicle. Why? Fewer moving parts. Compared to a regular gas vehicle, an EV is relatively simple. Another reason is efficiency. Over XX% of the energy in a battery is converted to kinetic energy, while in a gas vehicle it’s around 30%, with most of it lost as heat. Less heat means less thermal wear on the propulsion system. There is nothing wrong with not liking EVs, and like I said, I think most of it is you just don’t like the people who do like them.
