Those are full of cell phones computers and power tool batteries. While power tools are slowly shifting to LFP most still use NMC. Computers and communication devices are typically LCO. In a cell phone the average service" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-13 23:07:36 UTC 1681 followers, XXX engagements
"@BoomSauce781 They have been working together for some time. INL is collaborating with them on non-thermal crystallization and $ABAT is INL's commercial partner in a new process to recover the electrolyte in a lithium-ion cell" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-16 13:45:53 UTC 1681 followers, XXX engagements
"For those looking for a company actually producing LFP cells in the United States there is DragonFly Energy $DFLI. They specialize in house batteries for off-grid and RV use. While DragonFly is small compared to LG and Tesla they are a domestic producer and their Battle Born line of batteries is considered the standard against which other LFP batteries are compared. I would actually love to get my hands on a few of them. However personally I invest in the supply chain not manufacturers and have no stake in them but I was asked about manufacturers that are not the big boys" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-17 19:24:07 UTC 1680 followers, 1308 engagements
"This is the story behind $ABAT revenue cue the bass-heavy Behind the Music theme song. They are technically still a startup that invented and developed a method to create black mass from lithium-ion batteries by leveraging the cells natural tendency to partially pre-treat themselves. Their process causes the cells to short circuit generating heat that breaks down the metals and the compounds binding them together while preventing ignition. This technology is new so it did not work perfectly at the start. It took over a year to generate even a small amount of revenue with a negative margin of" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-18 20:31:17 UTC 1680 followers, 1342 engagements

"This is false. Currently any commercial-scale production of battery-grade materials from primary or secondary sources is limited to lithium with Rio Tinto and Albemarle as the main producers. For the transition metals there is no real domestic production. If I had to guess Tesla likely has the largest production capacity in North America based on the numbers from their recycling program. Most primary production still takes place overseas so if there is any battery-grade output in the United States it is from secondary sources and well below the levels produced by China. $ABAT is one potential" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-17 18:49:38 UTC 1680 followers, 1249 engagements

"The five years I have been in the stock I have seen price estimates ranging from $XXXX to $XXX. My estimate is that until we receive a press release confirming a lithium-ion cell has rolled off a production line using material from $ABAT any long term price prediction is pointless. Short term not even going there" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-23 15:04:10 UTC 1680 followers, XXX engagements
"This post covers two topics I have written about before. China has been overprocessing lithium precursors each year adding to the supply glut while also stockpiling concentrates to release when prices rise. This strategy has kept prices low but the long-term effects are now adversely affecting Chinese based firms. China faces a clear case of overcapacity. Despite steady growth in the lithium sector production growth from mines has been deliberately limited to around XX% while demand has increased between XX% and 29%. This imbalance should push prices up but the opposite has occurred. Each" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-23 14:59:17 UTC 1680 followers, XX engagements
"I knew the second I saw this bait and switch headline that I would get a few questions about it. RecycLiCo Partners with Lucid to Strengthen North American Domestic Supply Chain for Critical Minerals and Metals What has actually happened is RecycLiCo has joined a trade association with the goal of securing a domestic supply chain for lithium-ion cells. They do not have a commercial partnership with Lucid. Can this help the company Most definitely but this ties back to one of the problems this company has had and is a recurring theme in the critical minerals industry: the bait and switch" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-23 15:45:02 UTC 1680 followers, XXX engagements
"Dilution seems to be the magic word this morning. Saw a screenshot of one person who asked when will they start diluting again. In the past @abt_company has had toxic and unchecked dilution. The way the Dougs used the company as a cash machine still sours my stomach. After the change of the guard that somewhat changed and it went from a cash machine to needing capital for growth and projects. I have no problem with them diluting as long as there is clear progress associated with that dilution that is shared with investors. Sadly there is never any clear progress at least not progress that is" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-23 16:38:26 UTC 1680 followers, XXX engagements
"In the past he has talked about co-location for $ABAT as being adjacent or on the same property as well. If you look at the BASF facility in Greenville area there is a huge vacant lot behind their site. So that is a possibility there is a lot of industrial parks in that area and land is cheap. But at the same time they could find a brownfiled site which would be a heck of a lot cheaper and easier to permit" @Mith_ on X 2025-07-23 18:30:21 UTC 1680 followers, XXX engagements
"Panasonic launched their newest 2170 lithium-ion cell production plant with an estimated XX GWh capacity which is about 375000 Tesla Model 3s a year. The plant is located in Kansas and is expected to employ around 4000 people at full capacity. While exact tax revenue numbers are not publicly available it was reported that sales tax revenue in the area increased by XX% from 2023 to 2024. Additionally the De Soto City Council approved a XX% reduction in the citys property tax rate in 2024 made possible by increased economic activity and rising property values linked to the plant.
