It basically disincentivizes folks from using Tether. TBD if US cracks them down hard (very good national security reasons to do so) that will cause some severe corrections in crypto near term, or they try to gradually manage Tether’s decline into irrelevance (which is the better economic argument).

I do lean on the former, and that affects my position sizing but does not affect my secular long term thesis.
